Lucia Alonso Journalism

I am currently an NYU student studying Broadcast Journalism and Cinema Studies. I grew up between Miami and Paris, which ultimately made me grow curious in other cultures. I made friends from all over the world who have invited me into their households and gave me the chance to not only learn about customs and traditions of other cultures, but issues as well. This made me passionate about telling other people’s stories, whether that was through acting, filmmaking, or becoming a journalist. Years later and towards the end of my college career, I strive to continue to stay curious, and to keep on telling other people’s stories.
